To celebrate the Golden age of commercial aviation and their vast involvement in the industry, Breitling have released this exceptional Breitling Navitimer 1 Airline Edition TWA watch. This striking Airline Edition tributes the emblematic TWA, also known as Trans World Airlines from the United States. It’s retro 1970’s aesthetic of red and white harks back to the heyday of the airline and the era that gave birth to the very first Breitling Navitimer watch collection. Throughout most of the twentieth century, TWA was a familiar sight at the world’s major airports and Breitling wish to celebrate their success within their range of pilot watches and the inclusion of a special sapphire crystal case back engraved with the famous TWA logo. The case of this Breitling Navitimer 1 B01 Chronograph 43 Airline Edition TWA watch measures to a neat 43mm in size and comes equipped with the collection’s recognisable ratcheted bidirectional bezel and sapphire crystal glass treated with an anti-reflective coating. Housed within is the COSC certified Breitling 01 self winding movement which equips the Breitling Airline Edition watch with hour, minute and sub seconds, a central chronograph seconds hand, 30 minutes counter, 12 hours counter, date window and a power reserve of 70 hours. To complete the retro finish of this Breitling Navitimer 1 TWA watch, a distressed brown calfskin leather strap is added alongside a stainless steel buckle.
